I'm SOOOOO sad a few people told me about Annalee and I contacted her about family pics but i waited too long to decide a date and so now SADLY for me she is all booked for the rest of year! SO if anyone knows of another good photographer in the Idaho Falls, Rigby, Rexburg area PLEASE let me know.

so i am really wanting to get family pictures done in Idaho so that we can have colten in them with us. if anyone knows of a good (not too expensive) photographer let me know. i would love to find one that would give us a cd with the copy write so that we could print more pics later :) if anyone knows of anyone let me know THANKS

our anniversary

on Wednesday the 17th was our 3 year anniversary!!! Wes sent me red roses with a white Calla Lilly(that's what my bridal bouquet was made of... i was extremely impressed that he remembered) that's when i found out that he got us a Jacuzzi tub and a private concert to Diamond Rio ( i wasn't really sure what that was but it is a concert with about 150 people) IT WAS SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!! i lost all my money but Wes was a bit more lucky and won some money at black jack. it was a GREAT anniversary. Avah got to spend the weekend with grandma and grandpa McGuire and was SPOILED ROTTEN they went shopping and i swear anything that Avah wanted she got. it was a great weekend and it was so fun to have some alone time with Wes.

i knew i wouldn't have time tomorrow so i thought i would do it tonight.... tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary!!! time has flow by so fast it does not seem like its been 3 years, i want to tell Wes thank you SO MUCH for all that you do for me and for listening to me complain from time to time and throw my "tantrums". Wes is so amazing and i am so grateful for him, he always puts his family first. i look forward to the years and adventures to come. LOVE YOU

Avah and the Potty

this morning avah told me that she wanted to go potty so she went in the bathroom and took her diaper off and i asked her to throw it in the trash, she did not big deal. i asked if she wanted to put on a clean diaper she said "no" so i told her she didnt have to if she would tell me when she had to go potty. i keep asking her if she needs to go potty and she says no (of course). i was doing the dishes and she comes out and stands there and wets on the carpet AHHHHH i clean it up and tell her that if she doesnt go on the toilet than we are going to put a diaper on. so some more time passes she runs out holding her bum saying she needs to go potty (she can get on the potty all by her self using her step stool) a minuet or two later she comes out and has poop on her hands!!!!!! FREAKIN DAY we go in the bathroom and it was all over the toilet seat and her hands BUT... she did go in the potty and she tried to wipe so i tried not to show that i was Frustrated :)we hurried and cleaned the mess and then got her in the bath. i think its funny that before i was a mom i thought it would be so easy and my princess would be mess free and all ways look perfect. hahaha what was i thinking i do not know how some moms do it! i envy the "super mom" and hope that someday i can come close.

ISALAND PARK & WEST YELLOWSTONE

On Wednesday night we left Logan and headed to Idaho Falls to meet up with Wes's parents. we stayed overnight and in the morning we picked up Colten and headed to Island Park to the cabin. Wes, Leon and Colten went fishing at Henry's Fork when we got there and Linda, Avah and I hung out at the cabin. We had SO MUCH FUN, we read books, watched movies (the only kids movie was Shrek 2 so we watched that I swear 50times!!!), made bracelets and hung out. Friday we went to West Yellowstone we didn't see much game. at one point traffic was backed up for i swear a mile or more by the time we got to where the "distraction" was i was a little disappointed that it was just an elk, i was hoping it would be something more exciting. we drove to this place that had a dead end and when we got to the end this boy (about 10years old) with a heavy accent ran up to our car and was So excited that he had just seen a dear, what he thought was a dear was actually a little group of elk, i could not believe how close we were to them. Wes pointed out my window and i screamed because there was a cow elk maybe 5 feet from my window and i didn't see it when we came to a stop. we went to fire hole, the paint pots and Old Faithful. there were some more places we were able to stop but i cant remember what they were called. we had so much fun at West Yellowstone. Saturday morning we got all packed up and got the cabin cleaned up and then Wes, Leon and Colten went fishing on their way home. Linda took Avah and I to my parents house and we were able to hang out with the boys (Jaymin and Bryson)for a while. It was so nice to get home on Saturday and have a day to "recover" before our busy week starts.

DOWNATA HOT SPRINGS

this past weekend all the Griffeth's decided to get together at Downata Hot Springs WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! our family is planning a day trip so that we can all go and have a great time. avah LOVED the water toys here are some pictures of her.

ISLAND PARK

THIS PAST WEEKEND WE WENT TO ISLAND PARK TO SPEND THE WEEKEND WITH COLTEN AND MY FAMILY AT THE CABIN, WE HAD SOOOOOO MUCH FUN IT WAS HARD TO COME BACK TO WORK.

we left friday night picked up colten and went to my parents house, in the morning wes and my dad went to the police range to go shooting, they got to shoot all kinds of Awesome guns, a machine gun,

my mom, bryson, colten, avah and i went up to treasure mountain boy scout camp(ceader badge camp) to get jaymin. then we went to the cabin.

my dad, jaymin, bryson and wes had paintball wars the entire time! its fun that my little brothers love wes and look up to him. we did some shooting with the 22 rifle and the pistol.

on saturday night we were bar-b-q-ing and bryson wanted to light the grill so i went out there with him(to make sure everything went ok), he turned the gas on and turned on all 3 nosles and then tried to light the match after about 10 strikes and not being able to light it i asked if i could do it. so i light the match and put it in the grill and THEN BOOM there was a HUGE explosion my arm hair was burned off, part of my eye brows are singed and my bangs were singed; im so thankful tho that it was me and not bryson (he is in alstars baseball this summer and he would have died if he couldnt play ball).

sunday afternoon at 1 we left to come home to beautiful cache valley.

FAMILY

I got this as an email and liked it so i thought I'd post it.

F A M I L Y I ran into a stranger as he passed by, 'Oh excuse me please' was my reply. He said, 'Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you.' We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. 'Move out of the way,' I said with a frown. He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said,'While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse.. Go and look on the kitchen floor, You'll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue. He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.' By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his bed; 'Wake up, little one, wake up,' I said. 'Are these the flowers you picked for me?' He smiled, 'I found 'em, out by the tree.I picked 'em because they're pretty like you. I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue.' I said, 'Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn't have yelled at you that way.

He said, 'Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway.' I said, 'Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.'

FAMILY Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed,don't you think?

I just want to take a minuet and tell Wes how Amazing I think he is. He is the hardest working person I have EVER met, he is caring, loving, patient and extremly giving. I know that I am not an easy person to live with sometimes I wonder why he says, hahaha. i just wanted to take a second and tell everyone that I LOVE MY HUSBAND and I could not imagine our life without him.

Happy Father's day to my Dad. i love to watch my dad with Avah they are SO cute. Dad happy father's day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVAH!!!! THE BIG 2

Two years ago today Avah was getting ready to come into the world. It was a Sunday and i was at work i thought i had to go to the bathroom but after i went I COULDNT STOP PEEING or so i thought (it was a slow "leak") ! i quietly left work without telling anyone that i was leaving and went home. when i got home i told Wes i thought my water broke but i wasn't sure so i called the Hospital (i did not want to be "one of those girls" who goes to the hospital only to come home.... nothing wrong with those girls) they told me that i could come in but where i wasn't having contractions that it was probably nothing but we could go up there, this was at 6pm. I was up cleaning and couldn't go to sleep Wes was playing video games at 1 am i decided that maybe we should go to the hospital just in case (i still was not having any contractions). we got up there and we had to go through the ER because it was the only door open, finally we get to the Women's wing (this was before the had the Women's Center) and they test to see if my water really did break they couldn't really tell if it had or not so they say to rest and they will come put the monitors on. i COULD NOT SLEEP my family came and visited for a little while i started having contractions FINALLY i was able to get my "drugs"!!! the Epidural worked every where BUT where it was suppose to so the had to get me stronger drugs after that i dint really remember much. i remember Dr. Norda barely making it for the delivery (Avah was born on Memorial Day so everyone was with family having fun) he delivered her wearing shorts and filp flops! Avah was Born at 4:29 in the Afternoon on May 29, 2006 weighing in at 8LBS 9OZ the cord was around her neck and i remember that her face was blue and her body white. the nurse that was in there grabbed Avah and started rubbing her and giving her oxygen. after a few minutes i was able to hold her and everything was fine. not the best picture of me but what do you expect after being up for over 24hrs and pushing for 2 hrs

Avah you are my Beautiful Princess and I love you more than you will ever know. What a Beautiful surprise you were for your daddy and i, we did not expect to get you as quickly as we did. every day you become more of a little girl and soon you will be a "big girl" and wont want to hug me and kiss me BUT ILL LIKE YOU FOR ALWAYS ILL LOVE YOU FOR EVER AS LONG AS YOU ARE LIVING MY BABY YOU WILL BE.

ITS BEEN TOO LONG

I KNOW I KNOW IVE BEEN SLACKING AT THE POSTING. Where to start.....

this is Avah at 23 and 1/2 months. it makes me SO SAD that she is growing up. she is starting to become quit the little Princess... Maybe thats our fault because we call her princess and she can get what ever she wants from me but dad is another story atleast for now hahaha.

a few weekends ago we went up to idaho falls/rexburg for mothers day and avah could not get enough of her uncles Jaymin and Bryson. she loves them SOOOOOOO MUCH!!

we went to the park/zoo but we were having SO MUCH FUN that we missed the zoo hours by 15 mins. it was so fun to spend the afternoon with my baby brother brycee.

last weekend the 17th we went to Jerome, ID to visit wes's family for the anual McGuire family Pork Roast. Leon (my father-in-law) was up bright and early to get the pig in the smoker. now for those who know me i HATE HAM!!!!! but this was THEE BEST PORK(ham) I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! its a family "secrect" from back east. it was FREAKIN AMAZING. leon has some miniture horses and one of them had a colt. when it was born it was only 17 inches tall!!!!! Avah didnt like it so much but i thought it was adorable, i was able to pick it up and hold it. this is my favorite time of day. Avah finally asleep. we love snuggling at the end of the day.
so i had the GREAT IDEA.. lets make avah a tutu for her birthday. well it didnt take me too long only like 2-3 hrs. it turned out pretty cute the "finished" product is the next picture.

Today avah and i went to baby animal days out at the west herritage center. IT WAS SO FUN, we forgot to take pictures(sad i know) but i did get 2 so here they are

Big Girl Bed

wes's mom and dad were here this past weekend and when they were here they suprised us with a twin sized mattress and boxspring!!!!!! so now Avah is in a "Big Girl Bed" and she Loves it! i dont have a cute bedspread yet but as soon as i do i will be posting pictures of it.

a few week ago wes got a promotion and he is now the Shop and Parts manager! we still go up and see colten atlease once a month but we try and do it everyother weekend. work for me is going good, some sad news tho... ashley our payroll girl is leaving us :( her husband got a job offer in Denver and so they are moving. i will be taking ashleys spot as payroll, its exciting and im happy that im back doing payroll i really enjoyed it when i did it in Idaho Falls. this weekend is baby animal days and i HOPE we can go but we might be going to idaho.

when i found out i was pregnant i was SO excited i couldn't wait to know what we were having and start thinking about names. i got all the baby name books i could find and went through them and made a list of what names i liked.

i know some of the names are odd but oh well. Anyways my name is a family name Avery is my grandmas maiden name and Kay (my middle name) is my dad and grandmas middle name, i wanted her name to come from family. SO i wanted to name her Avari and call her Ava but Wes said no, so then we were going to name her Kylee Ave but i didn't really like that as it got closer to my due date. i LOVED the name Ava and Wes liked it too be we wanted her name to be "original" so Wes came up with the Idea to add a H to the end of AVA so that's how we got AVAH and at the time Wes's best friend was Kyle and i have a brother named Kyle so I agreed with the middle name Kyle.

SO THAT IS HOW WE GOT AVAH KYLE MCGUIRE
