kids say the funniest thing

so the other day i cooked dinner and the plate was really hot. i went in the room to change and hurt a HUGE crash!!!!!!! i ran out looking for what happend. avah started crying and said i broke the plate. we went and sat on the couch and she was pretty upset still. i told her it was ok i wasnt mad, she looked at me and said mom i broke the plate and said shit.........LOL i tried so hard not to laugh. i kept saying its ok im not mad about the plate, she was more upset about saying shit than breaking the plate. i went and told wes and we both died of laughter. second funny story....we were at dinner one night and we saw some people we kind of know. we were talking as they were leaving avah said "my dad says all the bad words" we were dying and wes wanted to crawl under the table. the couple just laughed and and said DONT WE ALL.

Siddoway 50th Anniversary

back in November it was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. it was so much fun we went to this lodge that was amazing. i definetly want to go back sometime, it had an indoor gym for the kids, in the bunk room there was a slide that went from the top floor to the bunk room, tons of giant soft blocks so the kids could build forts or anything they wanted (it was kid heaven). i was so nice that there was enough room that we didnt notice ALL the kids, we were able to have a thanksgiving dinner with everyone that was very fun. i loved being able to talk with my cousins spouses we dont live by them so i havent been able to get to know them. our favorite photographer was able to sneek out with us to get some family and kid pictures while we were there. HALLOWEEN

so ive been really bad at keeping up on blogging:) on halloween we were able to have sophi for a few hours while alisha did a photo shoot. we dressed up the girls and headed to the mall for some indoor warm trick or treating. the mall was packed with people it was really fun to see all the cute and creative costumes. avah was snow white. there were tons of snow whites this year (maybe because the movie was taken out of the vault)i know im predijuce because avah is mine but i do think she was one of the cutest snow white.

50th FUN

This weekend was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. it was really fun and crazy with all the kids and adults. Im affraid the only bad part is some kids werent feeling 100%. Tuesday morning avah woke up with a fever i gave her some tylenol and she went back to bed. we got up and went to daycare and work as normal. at 11 i got a call from her daycare asking if we could come get avah because she is misserable laying on the couch and telling the other kids to leave her alone. we couldnt get into the dr till 6pm last night. they told me that with avahs symptoms she has SWINE FLU!!!Avah cant go to daycare till she is 48hr with no fever and no medicine that could mask the fever. the DR said wes and i are ok to go to work as long as we dont have a fever. avah is just resting, watching movies, playing a game on the computer, drinking pedia lite/crystal light mixture and pretty happy. last night at 11 she threw up dinner so we decided the B.R.A.T would probably be best. the dr was really nice and said that it isnt as bad as he thought it would be. i guess one good thing is atleast we are getting it over with early in the fall.

Mommy Daughter Date

Last weekend we had a girls day it was so much fun! Denise, Oakley, Avah and I went to Tia Pan and did a little halloween/fall shopping. Tia Pan is the most awesome store for home decore. Tia Pan is a "mommy store" so Avah and Oak were pretty board and irritate from us saying "don't tuch" "stay with us" ect.... SO when we were finally finished we went to the Tree House Museum IT IS AMAZING!!! I honestly think i might have had more fun than Avah. When you walk in there is this HUGE tree. In the trunk there is a spiral stair case and you can go to different floors that have different activities. Here are some pics of our fun playdate this is Avah in the baby hospital. the girls put on lab coats and were dr's for the babies.its was so fun watching them. this is the music room they have drums,shakers and rattlers and xylaphones on the walls. this is the castle area and these are the 2 princesses. this is Little Britan, this adorable little house is decorated in peter rabit and i LOVE this dress up. I think everyone should take their kids to The Tree House Museum its amazing. There many more rooms that were so fun but these were a few of my favorites. this past week

i cant believe another week has gone by!!! on tuesday Avah started dance class (ballet and tap) and i LOVE watching her!!! on Thusday i had my cousin Alisha(Dustin's wife) take some pictures of avah and they are going to be ADORABLE!!(anyone in cache valley looking for a photographer call Alisha she does an amazing job). alisha's photography http://alishaphotography.blogspot.com is her website. go see avahs picture and she will have some more soon. this weekend we went to our cabin in Island park it was tons of fun. we didnt do much but we LOVE PLAYING Catch Phrase with the family. we start laughing so hard that we cant stop, i honestly dont think i have ever seen my dad laugh so hard in his life. we got to have colten for the weekend and he was such a sweet boy. we put my little brother brysons football gear on Colten and it fit perfectly... the sad part is Bryson is 12 (a small 12 yr old) and colten is 3. haha the shoulder pads were almost a perfect fit and the helmet was almost too small. anyways there a little tiny look at our week.

new computer

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got a new computer so i might actually beable to keep up on our blog once again. WOW HAS TIME FLY i can not blieve it is ALREADY AUGUST!!!!!!!!! so a little of what is going on with the MCGUIRES..... Avah is now 3 i cant believe i have a 3 year old. she literally thinks that she is a princess. everyday she wants to wear either a skirt/skort or a dress. sometimes we run out of both and then she is really sad because "then she isnt a real princess". my cousins just moved to Logan and im so excited! i Really hope that we can get together sometime soon. Alisha does a little photography on the side and i want her to take pics of avah soooo bad i just have to figure out a time that would work for both of us. wes has been working A TON OF HOURS and hasnt gotten to do much fishing this summer. ive just been working my normal hrs. for now that will work its getting late and the princess didnt have a nap today

update

it has been a few CRAZY months since i posted....

1. avah is potty trained (except at daycare, she has accidents and i dont know why)
2. yesterday May 29th avah turned 3!!!!!!( this year i did not cry)
3. we were lucky enough to get to take care of Cait and TJs little "special" puppy. he was the last one born and it was quiet a bit later than the others so we think he suffered some brain problems. he was the SWEETEST puppy ever, when he would walk it was usually in circles, he would let me cuddle him and he was super cute (with his big head and googley bug eyes). sadly he wasnt able to be with us that long.
4. avah had a messy acident at daycare and so i put the underpanties(as avah likes to call them) in the toilet to soak. avah came running saying she had to go potty so i told her to go. NEXT THING I KNOW.... SHE WAS BAWLING TO THE POINT SHE COULDNT BREATH. i kept asking what was wrong finally through the sobs and after about 5 mins she was able to tell me that her under panties WENT DOWN THE TOILET!!!!!!!!! wes and i were laughing so hard but avah was sooo upset that we didnt want her to know we thought it was funny. wes found a pair of underwear that kind of looked like the others, he went in the bathroom and got them wet in the sink and HE WAS HER KNIGHT IN SHINNING ARMOR FOR "GETTING HER PANTIES OUT OF THE TOILET". WE STILL LAUGH ABOUT IT.
5. avah is going to be starting a new daycare/preschool on 6/15 and we are dang excited about it. hopefuly it will help her with the potty going.
6. i got an awesome phone for mothers day. when i put the headphones in i can get radio stations!!! i LOVE it for work!!

well there are a few little highlights of our CRAZY LIFE.

the begining of our fun weekend!!

so this is a fun weekend for our family...... wes is fishing in Lake Powell and Avah and I are hanging out with Katie and her girls!!!! tomorrow we are going to baby animal days and my friend nichole, rob and little ben and coming up to go with us im SOOOO EXCITED. we are doing good and im SO HAPPY that spring is FINALLY ON ITS WAY. i will post again soon :)

IT'S BEEN TOO LONG

i know i haven't posted forever. the reasoning for that is our computer caught a virus and died. so without the computer working we decided to cancel our internet because we both have access to it at work. here are a few things that have happened while we are MIA......

1. Avah is attempting potty training. at home she wears panties like a champ and goes #1 100% of the time, #2 we are still working on. at daycare they like to keep her in diapers till she does her business and then she wears panties. one day we will get it :).
2. Wes had a birthday and we had a blast partying 3 days with Cait, Tj, Bob and Annie. we were sad to see them go home.
3. the weather has been CRAZY one week i was able to wear capri's and flip flops and then we get 2 feet of snow in a day!!! by the weekend it is melted and we are able to go to the park and have a picnic.
   
4. Wes's parents came up for the weekend and we had tons of fun having them at the house and going to the cheese factory(avah loves the samples you can get there). like always avah got spoiled rotten when they were here and we were so sad to see them go home.

anways those are just a few thing that have happend this month. i cant believe its already the end of March!!! I PROMISE I will try to be better about keeping my blog up dated.
