Big Girl Bed

wes's mom and dad were here this past weekend and when they were here they suprised us with a twin sized mattress and boxspring!!!!!! so now Avah is in a "Big Girl Bed" and she Loves it! i dont have a cute bedspread yet but as soon as i do i will be posting pictures of it.

a few week ago wes got a promotion and he is now the Shop and Parts manager! we still go up and see colten atlease once a month but we try and do it everyother weekend. work for me is going good, some sad news tho... ashley our payroll girl is leaving us :( her husband got a job offer in Denver and so they are moving. i will be taking ashleys spot as payroll, its exciting and im happy that im back doing payroll i really enjoyed it when i did it in Idaho Falls. this weekend is baby animal days and i HOPE we can go but we might be going to idaho.

when i found out i was pregnant i was SO excited i couldn't wait to know what we were having and start thinking about names. i got all the baby name books i could find and went through them and made a list of what names i liked.

GIRLS

i know some of the names are odd but oh well. Anyways my name is a family name Avery is my grandmas maiden name and Kay (my middle name) is my dad and grandmas middle name, i wanted her name to come from family. SO i wanted to name her Avari and call her Ava but Wes said no, so then we were going to name her Kylee Ave but i didn't really like that as it got closer to my due date. i LOVED the name Ava and Wes liked it too be we wanted her name to be "original" so Wes came up with the Idea to add a H to the end of AVA so that's how we got AVAH and at the time Wes's best friend was Kyle and i have a brother named Kyle so I agreed with the middle name Kyle.

Avah and the Birthday Cake

This weekend Wes's Parents and his sister and brother in law came up to Logan for Wes's Bday on Monday the 17th. We had a dang fun weekend, we got a birthday cake for Wes. Sunday evening after everyone had gone home we decided to watch some T.V. so Wes and I we watching somthing and I dont hear Avah anymore so I asked Wes to go check on her (because you know anytime a child get quiet THEY ARE GETTING INTO TROUBLE!!!!) WELL Wes walked into the kitchen and this is what he found!!!!!!!!!

AVAH HAD PULLED THE CAKE OFF THE COUNTER AND ONTO THE KITCHEN FLOOR AND WAS EATING IT!!!!!!

FUN AT GREAT GRANDMA'S HOUSE

This weekend we went to Idaho to visit Colten and we decided to stay with my Grandma (Avah Great Grandma). Grandma broke her right shoulder a year ago and she used her good shoulder so much while the other was healing that a month ago she had to have surgery on it. Grandpa is out of town this weekend for a funeral in Chicago so it was fun to go up there and help Grams. Grandma isn't able to lift her hand up above her chest because it hurts so I got the FUN JOB of curling her hair. it was actually pretty fun ANYWAYS we found some old wigs and Avah LOVED wearing the Wigs so we got a picture together. the other picture is of Colten and my littlest brother Bryson.
