catching up

I am going to start back on May 27th......Wes told me that I needed to be ready for a dinner meeting with a company that he wanted to start buying equipment from. Our neighbor said that she would watch avah so i was really excited to go out even if it was for a business meeting for wes. We went to Rumbi Island Grill its was good but i don't think i will go back again i felt it was over priced for what we got. when we walked in wes was looking around and said that he didn't see the people so we ordered and sat down. once we were sitting wes said "the people aren't meeting us." i was so confused for a minuet, he pulled a piece of paper out and handed it to me and then told me that he was taking me to SEX AND THE CITY 2!!!!! I WAS SO EXCITED, i told him earlier in the week that i couldn't wait to see it when it came out on video. when we got to the theater there were these older ladies dressed up like the girls. we walked into our theater and there were MAYBE 15-20 people and wes was the only guy. i was surprised that there wasn't a lot of skin shown because the other episodes show skin. it was the BEST SURPRISE IN THE WORLD!!!!

Memorial weekend was great. Saturday our little princess turned 4!!!!! i cant believe she is already 4, wes and i were talking the other night and she seems older than 4 but we are so glad that we get to keep her a little longer since she isn't older. Wes's family has a birthday tradition that who ever is having the birthday gets to choose where to go for dinner. We decided to go some where were they will do something fun (last year we went to sizzler and they didn't do anything), we went to TEXAS ROAD HOUSE. After dinner they had her sit on this saddle and asked her name and how old she was, then at the top of their lungs the announce your name, age and shout YEE HAW. AVAH LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THE SPOT LIGHT LOL.

On Monday we took our boat to the lake. We packed a little lunch and had a great time. Wes showed me how to cast the fishing pole so hopefully now that avah is older we can go out more. avah brought her Barbie's to keep her company on the boat and i soaked in the sun(note to self REMEMBER THE SUNSCREEN EVEN IF ITS OVER CAST). we were out for about 3-4 hours, wes caught a tiger muskie they have sharp teeth and wes didnt have a net or a steel leeter( i know i didn't spell it right but for us who dont know what the heck this is... its to keep the fish from biting the line off with their sharp teeth) but he was able to reel the sucker in. he was holding it for a picture and some how it wiggled its way out of his hands and avah was standing right below him, we were worried it was going to bite her does off. it was such a fun day and a great end to a memorable memorial day weekend.
