September & October

i've been slacking on blogging. its been over a month!!! SO Wes and I celebrated our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! it was so fun, we went to Wendover for the night. we did a few slot machines and i lost all my money, wes actually won money so that was fun. we saw Jim Gaffigan he is freakin hillarious!!! we were center stage and 3 rows back. it was so fun i laughed for the entire show i think it was 2 hrs long. we went to one of the buffets there and it wasnt that great... if we go again we will eat at a sit down restraunt instead.

My mom had her 50th bday!!! they had a huge party for her it was on a weeknight so we werent able to make it. the first weekend in Oct my high school girl friends and i went to my family's cabin for a girls weekend/good bye party. it was SO MUCH FUN!!! my friend Hailey is leaving for 18 months to serve a LDS Mission. we stayed up way too late talking and laughing. we watch movies that we made in high school and all i can say is WOW was i immature LOL and i hope avah has as much fun as i did when she gets older.

my dad also had his 50th bday, the night of his birthday my mom and sister came down to help make some crafts at my wards fun friday craft night. the next morning we got up and went for a walk and then came home and had breakfast. at about 10am we started our shopping marathon LOL. around 2 we broke for lunch and wes came and met us. little miss had enough shopping for the day(we all thought she would out shop us because she LOVES to shop. us 3 caught our 2nd wind and shopped till 6 that night. i had so much fun with my mom and sister I WISH we lived closer. Yesterday was my birthday, it was such a great day. i got so many birthday wished from friends and family. we went and had a yummy dinner at Olive Garden, we got calimari and i think avah at as much or more than wes and i(she suprises me with the foods she likes... how many 4 yr olds do you know that love sushi and calamari and other "grown up" foods). Today my aunt katie and cousin Alisa took me to lunch with our girls and we had a great time. my friend katie gave me the movie P.S. I LOVE YOU oh my gosh that movie is so good. i can not wait to watch it, it is a tear jerker and I LOVE IT!!!

i need to share my appreciation for my birth mother giving me to my parents. she could have choosen to have an abortion, im thankful that she didnt. growing up i couldnt wait to have a family of my own and especially children. it was hard for me to not look like my brothers and sister. i love when people tell me that avah looks like me. its amazing to me to think that i look like someone. i just want everyone to know that i am so thankful to my birthmom for giving me the gift of life. even tho i have never met her she holds a special place in my heart. i hope that some day i can meet her and let her know that i am thankful that she gave me a great childhood, amazing parents, a great husband and a beautiful daughter.
